About
Hi!
I’m Greta. Doula offering prenatal and postpartum support virtually and to local families in Middle Tennessee, and founder of Cradle & Kin. I’m also mama to my daughter Charlotte, wife to Brandon, and “dog mama” to Coozer.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me reading, spending time with my family, or planning our next traveling adventure. I also volunteer with Middle Tennessee Boxer Rescue when I can find a free window.
From a young age, whenever someone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer stayed the same: a mom. I’ve always held a deep reverence for motherhood. It is transformative, complex, messy, sacrificial, and beautiful.
When I became a mother myself, I experienced firsthand how essential support is during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I was so fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible “village” of friends, family, and various practitioners. The support from my support system allowed me to truly enjoy new motherhood, and I believe every parent deserves that level of care. After my own journey, I became inspired to offer the same care to others. And so, 5 months after the birth of my daughter, Cradle & Kin was born (pun 100% intended).
Becoming a parent, whether your first or 10th, truly takes a village and our society today has often lost that sense of community (much to the detriment of growing families). I am deeply passionate about being a small piece of that village and feel this work is essential.
However you’re entering this season, whether it be with questions, joy, overwhelm, or all of the above, know you don’t have to face it alone. I’d be honored to walk through this season with you.
