7 - Reflecting on 2025 with Cradle & Kin

The holidays are a natural time to slow down a bit and look back. As the year comes to a close, I wanted to reflect on the past year with Cradle & Kin.

I made the decision in April to support other mothers on their journey through postpartum and in less than a year:

  • Launched the Beta Program to support moms while gaining experience

  • Supported four families so far (with one baby still to come!)

  • Joined two certification programs and continued working toward certification

  • Made meaningful connections in the perinatal community and met some of my favorite people

  • Hosted the first Mom Walk for local moms to connect in person and started conversations with professionals interested in speaking to our group

  • Began laying the foundation for a postpartum prep course to launch in 2026

What an incredible beginning! Thank you to every family I’ve had the privilege of supporting for your trust, to my colleagues who have cheered me on and shared their wisdom, and to my family and friends for encouragement along the way. I can’t wait to see what 2026 will bring.

This will be the final blog of the year as I pivot to spending time with family and preparing to support a precious family in January. I’ll see you back here on January 5th!

Merry Christmas to all, and wishing you a beautiful start to 2026 😊

With love,

Greta (and Brandon, Charlotte & Coozer)

And the angel said unto them, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
